Old Vs New World

History is the study of the past. Events occurring before the invention of writing systems are considered prehistory. "History" is an umbrella term that relates to past events as well as the memory, discovery, collection, organization, presentation, and interpretation of information about these events.

The Old World

Old World is used in the West to refer to Africa, Asia and Europe , regarded collectively as the part of the world known to its population before contact with the "New World" (the Americas).

These regions were connected via the Silk Road trade route, and they called as Iron Age period following the Bronze Age. The Iron Age was accompanied by the so-called Axial Age, referring to cultural, philosophical and religious developments eventually leading to the emergence of the historical Western (Hellenism, "classical"), Near Eastern (Zoroastrian and Abrahamic) and Far Eastern (Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism) cultural spheres.

The concept of the three continents in the Old World, viz. Asia, Africa, and Europe, goes back to classical antiquity. Their boundaries as defined by Ptolemy and other geographers of antiquity were drawn along
the Nile and Don rivers.

Eurocentrism

Eurocentrism is a worldview that is centered on Western civilization or a biased view that favors it over non-Western civilizations. The exact scope of Eurocentrism varies from the entire Western world to just the continent of Europe or even more narrowly, to Western Europe.

New World

New World is a name used for the majority of Earth's Western Hemisphere, specifically the Americas. The term gained prominence in the early 16th century, during the Age of Discovery, shortly after Italian explorer Amerigo Vespucci concluded that America represented a new continent, and subsequently published his findings in a pamphlet titled Mundus Novus. This realization expanded the geographical horizon of classical European geographers, who had thought the world consisted of Africa, Europe, and Asia, collectively now referred to as the Old World, or Afro-Eurasia. The Americas were also referred to as the fourth part of the world.

New World was first coined by the Florentine explorer Amerigo Vespucci, in a letter written to his friend and former patron Lorenzo di Pier Francesco de' Medici in the Spring of 1503, and published in 1503–04 under the title Mundus Novus. Vespucci's letter contains arguably the first explicit articulation in print of the hypothesis that the lands discovered by European navigators to the west were not the edges of Asia, as asserted by Christopher Columbus, but rather an entirely different continent, a "New World"

Microsoft apps change 2021?

Microsoft pulled out all the stops when it said its Windows 10 platform is the most advanced one. This also meant that the company will not launch successive OS versions. Instead, it will keep pushing several changes - both big and small - to polish the Windows 10. Among these changes is the design upgrade that has kept Microsoft busy for a long time now. And we are now seeing what could be some of those changes that Windows 10 will likely have going forward. The company is changing how apps look in their dynamic state, along with several other changes to small elements in the design. According to the proposal document posted by Microsoft on GitHub, spotted by WindowsLatest, the big UI refresh in Windows 10 might arrive sometime in 2021. Although the changes have been mentioned in the proposal right now, meaning there is no testing going right now. There will be changes to the ListView, GridView, and majorly to the XAML apps that are available from the Windows Store. The biggest reaso...
